Statement – Andrew Sarakinis

by | Mar 27, 2023 | Events, News | 0 comments

This weekend, Andrew Sarakinis tragically passed away while playing for Colegio de San Agustin in a RIFA match. A definitive cause of death has not yet been determined at this stage.

The passing of Andrew is deeply saddening. No player should leave home to play in a football match and not return. The pain the family must be feeling right now is unfathomable.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Andrew’s family and all of our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.

Rest in Peace, Andrew.

We will provide everyone with updates on the schedule, protocols, and provisions that we will look to implement in the upcoming days.

In the meantime, please ensure all players are well hydrated at training, wear sunscreen, and please be vigilant of your child during the course of the training sessions and games.
