FIRST TEAM

We lost to Ceres-La Salle in a penalty shootout, 8–7 (3–3 after extra time), in the UFL Cup semifinal match on April 6. Having equalized three times, Kaya’s fighting spirit was displayed by all the players. Despite being down to 10 men, the team proved that they are a force to be reckoned with, and the score remained the same until the 120th minute, hence the penalty shootout, which was similar to last year’s final when we won against Ceres. You can watch the match highlights here. Our third-place play-off is on April 16, 5:15 p.m., against Stallion.

Our AFC Cup journey continues on Tuesday, April 12, as we face Balestier Khalsa in Singapore. You can watch the delayed telecast on ABS-CBN Sports + Action at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
