Kaya FC Academy Schedule: Jan 12–18

Hi all,

A quick update from my end:

Schedule

We aim to keep a normal schedule but with the arrival of the Pope this week, we may have to make some late adjustments, so please check your email before you leave for training. We also resume our One World classes at North Forbes.

  • Monday: Rockwell is OFF
  • Tuesday: Cuenca & One World (North Forbes) at 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday: McKinley, 4 p.m.
  • Thursday: Cuenca at 4 p.m.
  • Friday: Forbes (futsal) at 4 p.m.
  • Saturday: McKinley at 8 a.m.
  • Sunday: McKinley at 8 a.m.

Registration

We would like all players, if possible, to register this week even if you have sessions remaining, as we want all our players in the new uniforms for training. Last year, all players were in the new jerseys for training and we looked very professional. All players who wish to join us will have to sign the registration forms during 2015 so please do so as soon as possible.

Adult Program

We are now running adult programs at Cuenca (Tuesday and Thursday) and McKinley Hill (Sunday) for our parents and family members of Kaya FC Academy. We had a great turnout this week so we will aim to keep this running indefinitely.

The cost for the program is P4,000 for 10 sessions with registration of P2,000, which includes the uniform. This program aims to develop footballing skills of adults as well as providing them with a fun way to exercise and keep fit! We are already hearing calls for games against other teams so let’s see how things progress.

UK Camp

Please read the email I sent out yesterday, Sunday, regarding the UK camp and respond to the email string. As mentioned last year, Kaya FC Academy has partnered with Zenith Soccer in the UK to provide selected players the opportunity to play and train in England later this year. It is a great opportunity for our kids, and I hope we can continue it on a yearly basis.

The tour will include:

  • Playing games against professional and local UK academies
  • Training under the guidance of top professional coaches
  • Attending a live game featuring Premier League teams
  • Visiting sights of London

That’s all for now guys. Have a great week and I’ll see you out on the field.
