Happy New Year to everyone!
Greeting from the US! I am currently Stateside for my brother’s wedding but will be back later this week.
As we begin the 2015 season, here are a few updates for the upcoming year:
We will aim to keep a similar schedule to that of last year. We are still awaiting the resolution of the issues with the BGC turf field, so until that is fixed, we will continue to train at McKinley Hill.
We will add extra sessions during the UFL Youth season, which we anticipate starting in March and will run through until June. Tryouts for the teams will be announced shortly. This week’s schedule will be as follows:
- Tuesday: Cuenca, 4 p.m.
- Wednesday: McKinley Hill, 4 p.m.
- Thursday: Cuenca, 4 p.m.
- Friday: North Forbes, 4 p.m.
- Saturday: McKinley Hill, 8 a.m.
- Sunday: McKinley Hill, 8 a.m.
As always, we have tried to keep our pricing as competitive and affordable for you. We have made nominal increases for the 10 and 20 sessions, as we really want to encourage players to commit to training with us for a longer period of time. By training with us more consistently, players will see greater results in terms of improvement, and thus, gaining more out of the football experience. We have also increased the registration simply due to the increase in manufacturing cost of the uniforms. This year, players will receive top of the line, lightweight jerseys, which are the exact specification of the Kaya FC first team.
The cost per session is as follows:
20 sessions: P8,200 (P10 price/session increase)
10 sessions: P5,200 (P20 price/session increase)
5 sessions: P3,200 (P40 price/session increase)
Registration: P2,000 (P500 increase due to increase in the uniform manufacturing cost)
2015 UK Trip
I will send a separate email later this week outlining the details of a proposed trip to the UK for the academy in July. The tour will include training at a world-class facility just outside London, with games versus professional academies, as well getting to see Premier League teams live in action.
That’s all for now. As always, if you have any further questions, let me know and I look forward to seeing you all this week.
