Just a quick note from me this week:
Summer Program @ The Camp
We have extended the early-bird promo until Wednesday of this week as a few of you sent your forms directly to the Camp and couldn’t process payment. If you want to redeem the free sessions, the registration form and payment must be made by Wednesday of this week.
You can still register to join the program after this Wednesday. You can also show up on any day and pay the daily rate however the cost is higher than the 5/10 session rate. The 5-session rate is P2,500 and the 10-session rate is P4,000. Per session will be P600.
Our U9s were the only victors this weekend, winning 3-1 vs Global. Goals from Juan Camahort, Teo Celdran, and Gael Guerrero sealed the win as they made it 3 wins out of 3.
Our U11s lost 5-1 and 1-0 respectively to MSA and LMS. Our lone goal from our Yellow team came from Eric Almendral. Although they were both tough losses, MSA and LMS are both very strong in the U11 category and hopefully they can learn from this experience.
Perhaps the strangest result of the weekend was our U13s loss to Global. They outplayed their opponent for much of the game but fell to defeat against a far bigger/stronger opponent. I joked with the parents after the game regarding the size of almost all of their players…one player I think actually drove out of Emperador Stadium! Miggy Restor scored 2 excellent goals and I think the U13s can have a very successful season if they continue to play like they did.
Both U15s tied 1-1, with Jeff Morales scoring for team black and David Poticano scoring for team yellow. The games were a tale of missed opportunities with both sides missing a number of chances. However, both sides get their first points and much improved performances by the boys.
Our schedule is as per normal, with Sunday still off the schedule for now, but may be re-issued to us by the UFL in the near future. I will also update the parents with the UFL schedule as soon as it’s released.
Thanks all, have a great week and I’ll see you out on the field.
