Kaya FC Academy Updates: Mar 3–Mar 9

Kaya Family,

Greetings from Dubai!

I apologize that I have not been in contact with you all over the past week—as you may know I have been away with the National Team in Malaysia, and unfortunately, Internet issues prevented me from communicating with you all. I have received a few emails and I will get to them over the next couple of days as my schedule here in the Middle East is a little hectic. Apologies to those of you who didn’t find out in time that training on March 2nd was cancelled. We tried to get the news out as early as possible due to the UFL schedule change but it didn’t get through to all of you so I apologize if you didn’t find out in time.

Girls

Well done to our girls who played in the Everest tournament this weekend. A fantastic effort for the girls and especially well done to Sarah Riley for her MVP honors! Thanks to Coach Audrey and Coach Inaki for filling in the absence of Coach Drew who was also with me on National Team duties. Great job, guys!

Kaya Elite

The schedule has not been released yet and will be sent to you in due course. We sent the rosters to the UFL, and while there may be some last minute changes, most are set. As such, we will release our rosters for the opening weekend’s games which is set to start on March 8/9th.

Schedule

Training will continue as per the normal schedule. We will announce the full summer schedule (April-June) later this week.

I think that is all for now. As stated earlier, I will get back to you over the next few days with all your questions so please be patient with me.

Una Kaya!
