Kaya Academy Updates- Oct 28 to Nov 3

Kaya Family,
I will provide you with a quick update for this week & a review for this past week:
Thank you so much to all of you who took part in the clinic & games this weekend. It was a fantastic occasion and it was great that our academy members were able to mix with their teammates, with children from different backgrounds, and some of their football idol’s all for a wonderful cause- breast cancer awareness.
We have some great pictures of the event on our twitter page- @kayafcacademy and if you have some more please send them to me or tweet them across.

One important update with the schedule is ALL sessions that start at 4pm finish at 5:30pm. Please collect your children at that time. We will always endeavor to play a little longer if the light permits but please respect our coaches time and pick up your children promptly.
We have our usual schedule this week except for Thursday where Greenhills (u15s) & Cuenca is cancelled for Halloween.
With many of you on semester break this week- let us know if you want to do private or group sessions during this time. It provides a much better option than having your kids sit at home playing playstation and gives the kids a chance to hone their skills.

The last thing I wanted to share with you guys is a video from Nike about their academy and the trials and tribulations players have to go to in order to be a professional footballer. While many of our players play football for fun, I know a few harbor a desire to become a professional one day. This video shows just how hard it is to make it, the knock backs you receive along the way but if you work hard at your game and have a bit of luck along the way, dreams can come true:
As usual, any questions at all let me know, have a great week and see you out on the field.
