This weekend saw our Elite teams win 3, tie 1 and lose 2. Here were the results:

Diego Aspiras put in a virtuoso performance scoring all 6 goals in the 6-3 win vs Socceroos. They now sit atop of the U9 table, with 4 teams sharing a 4-0-1 record for 12 pts!

A tough 3-2 loss for coach Nate’s side in a game in which they dominated. A wondergoal by Chris Hagedorn and a Shane Clemente PK were not enough to give them the victory. Despite that, Nate was pleased with the teams overall performance and attitude.

Coach Diego picked up a valuable 3 pts when Enrique Cuervo’s goal gave us the 1-0 v Socceroo. The result has been coming as Diego’s team has improved week on week and were rewarded for all their recent efforts this weekend.

A depleted side for Coach Jonah were handed their first loss of the season at the hands of Global. With many of his players away with school commitments, Jonah’s side battled hard with Nica Sy, Jamie Young and hattrick scorer Ottmar Figueroa outstanding. They are still in title contention 3 points behind the leaders with a game in hand.

With 5 members of Coacj Mike’s team away on International duty, the side dug deep to salvage a 3-3 tie with Agila. Nino Herrera, Dan O’Reilly and Jonny McCartor got the goals as they stay joint top of the league with PSG.

Kenshiro Daniels put on a great display of finishing with 4 goals in the first half en route to a 7-1 win vs Socceroo. Rocky Plaza, Paolo Garciano and Michelle Maniquis rounded off the win for Coach Inaki’s side. They are now in second place with a top of the table clash with Loyola this weekend.
